Please make sure you add Freightrade email to your safe senders list. Please, when filling in the application form make sure you fill in all the fields marked with a red star. There are two levels of membership those that wish to take work from the site only and those that also require the option to sell work on the site. All the sellers of freight/work will be required to undergo a credit check. This is to reduce risk to all members of the site from poor/non-payment.

Haulier Search

Haulier search has two searchable fields. The company name and the town the haulier is based in, so if you are not sure which haulier you need you can just search for one in the nearest town.

Once you have found your suitable haulier you just click on their name to find out more about them, you can also check their feedback status by clicking on the traffic light indicator.

Sell Freight to Move

Once you are logged in with an approved account you can:

Sell freight to move in the UK and Europe. First select whether your freight is in the UK or European movement. Complete the appropriate Sell freight to move form. Please note some fields are required and have been marked with a red star.

At this stage you can put in just the minimal details of town and county as full address details can be added when the job is sold to a haulier on the site. Please make sure dates and times are accurate and that you select the appropriate vehicle size and type, this will reduce unwanted calls etc.

The guide price is there as an indication of the price you wish to pay for this job, always remember a fair rate will create more interest. Hauliers may bid higher or lower amounts but it is there to avoid the dutch auctions that occur on similar sites.

Please make sure you select your preferred payment terms and adhere to them when making payments, failure to do so may result in bad feedback and eventual expulsion from the site.

My current jobs

Once a haulier has contacted you to purchase a job go to my current jobs (you have to be logged in to do this) select the relevant job and click on sell job. This will take you to the job allocation page, tick the job taken box and then use the drop down menu to select the haulier you have sold the job to. At this point you can complete any further details for example the exact address and any special instructions. Finally you must click on save to confirm the sale of the job. The haulier will receive an email and you can print a copy for your records by using the print button.

Search Freight to Move

You can select either UK or European movements by selecting an area in the map or using the drop down menu for an area to search then click the search button to display the list of freight to move in that area. Click on the job details of any job that interests you this will bring up a summary of the job and the sellers contact details. You can also click on the sellers name for more details of the seller including their feedback. To apply for a job you can click the apply for job link by email or more effectively phone for details directly.

Sell Vehicle Space

Once you are logged in with an approved account you can:

Sell vehicle space in the UK and Europe. First select UK or Europe, then fill out the sell vehicle space form. Please note some fields are required and have been marked with a red star. Make sure you get the vehicle empty and returning to fields the right way round also make sure the date and time of the vehicle becoming empty are correct to avoid wasted calls.

If this is a regular journey you may tick the recurring journey tick box and add the dates the vehicle will be available, select the type of vehicle and submit which will then allow you to print a copy for your records.

Search Vehicle Space

You can select either UK or European vehicles by selecting an area in the map or using the drop down menu for an area to search then click the search button to display the list of vehicles in that area. Click on the vehicle details of any vehicles that interest you, this will bring up a summary of the vehicle and the sellers contact details. You can also click on the hauliers name for more details of the haulier including their feedback. To enquire about a space you can email them or more effectively phone for details directly.

Text Notifications

To use the text notification features of this site you will need a txtLocal account. Once you have your account simply enter your account details into your user profile, select which notifications you wish to receive and your done!
